One of the more memorable things to Kurt was being able to DJ on the campus radio as Captain Hoodel. I seem to recall him saying that he was asked to stand in for someone and brought a whole box of his own albums to play, decided he liked it and stayed on for some period of time. I’m not really sure what his genre was, but it seems to be progressive rock. There will be a listing of all his albums in the pages.
He really enjoyed one of his roommates–Steve Floyd’s show–Ozone Hour. He would always tell me if Steve was down in VA Tech at the station fdoing a show and we have several recordings.
There were a number of black and white photos in one larger picture in our garage and these pictures may have been WUVT people.
