Supported requirements elicitation and capture for applications related to web-scale text analytics. Team lead for development of the Financial Management Enterprise Architecture (became Business Enterprise Architecture) for the Department of Defense in the areas of Accounting and Real Property Management.

Kurt had good communications ability developed through his work as a systems architect. SA’s are responsibile for translating cleint’s business requirements into specific system, application or process designs. It includes working with client personnel and executives to identifiy functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others to indentification, justification and design of the the client’s solution.  For example, BLUEVIEW was an IBM project to apply a web-scale, text analytics e-infrastructure toan intelligence community environment. This alpha engagement involved generation of requirements and candidate deployment architectures through client interviews and workshops. Kurt engaged the customer to elicit requirements and contributed to development sessions, formalizing numerous scenarios to meet the customer’s needs.
