The Collector of Entertainment

Kurt was a long time collector of movies and shows, starting with recordings of the TV or cable. Then came VHS (not shown–many, many boxes), LaserDiscs, DVD, BLu-Ray …He used to come how with new titles weekly from Target. Then, of course, we started watching things from subscription–Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix and Dramfever. I got him hooked on Korean shows back around 2010 because that’s what I could get easily online when I stayed by myself at the farm. So what you see are walls and bookcases and storage units of the above. As for records, he got this monstrosity that is heavy as heck meant for LaserDiscs in the hallway and put his favorite records in that. And there was a huge box.  Yes, we have record players–one at the farm and maybe 3 here. But, honestly, he was more likely to commute and listen to XM Radio than play a record any more. (We also had cassette tapes in the cars for a while, but our newer vehicles didn’t have a way to play them.)  If you want to know what he collected–check the pages devoted to that stuff under this website’s header.
