I always had fun looking at real estate. Since we lived in a small footprint house, I was always daydreaming about living in someplace more commodious and would search out unusual places to show Kurt. He was a fan of anything cool and this place was in New York state, made of stone and had gorgeous Victorian interior rooms that looked like they would fit a large billiards table. The “Imagining” we lived in various places was half the fun.
He was looking for a job up there in NY during our Oakton period–probably around the “MRJ being taken over by Veridian” time frame.. We actually drove up to Canajoharie /Palatine Bridge because Kurt purchased a car on Ebay for one of the boys in that area and drove it back to Maryland, oil smoking all the way. That is another story…
