Our own spaces 90’s

One nice thing about the Penderwood house was that it had a lot of rooms. Maybe small rooms, but we had our own work spaces. I had an upstairs office and Kurt had a downstairs office off the family room and laundry which he cram-packed full of his research and paperwork to the point one could scarcely move around except to slide the chair in and out. There was no garage. This was my office, essential since I was going back to school full time to get my BA in Govt and Politics–even on Saturdays for 4 years. Kurt had the two boys to watch over. He’s probably setting up my desktop computer here. I had gone back to finish my degree-George Mason University Govt an Politics, then towards an MA in Public Policy-6 days a week. He had the boys on Saturdays.
